SHIPPING & DELIVERY T&C’S

Once your order is placed, please allow 10-14 business days for dispatch of your order from our warehouse. Our carrier will notify you with an expected delivery date and relevant tracking information via sms or email so you can track your delivery. If a furniture removalists service has been assigned to you they will be in -contact direct to organise your delivery date and time. Please be advised if the delivery date changes after your order leaves our warehouse it is out of our control as we use external third party freight courier services.

Our freight service is a drop off service to your front door only. Due to the nature of our courier service, they are unable to assist moving furniture items inside your home. Our pieces are delivered already assembled in one piece.

In the circumstance that no one is home to receive your delivery and you are comfortable for your order to be left unattended without the carrier obtaining a signature, please leave a message in the comments section at check out and indicate of a safe place that your order can be left. Yak and Yeti Trader is unable to accept responsibility for your order once it is delivered.

Our local Warehouse pick up:

We have a complimentary Click and Collect pick up service from our warehouse via appointment only. Please allow 10-14 business days for dispatch of your order from our warehouse. You will be contacted when your order is ready for collection and notification of our pick up days, time frames and pick up address.

Delivery charges for your item are calculated in the product description at check out for Capital Cities on the East Coast of Australia. If you are out of these areas within Australia. Please contact us to obtain a delivery quote, we will promptly confirm within 24 to 72 hrs. Please note purchases made over the weekend or on a public holiday will be posted on the next business day.

*Our shipping service is optional extra if you would like to use another preferred shipping service we are happy to assist with pick up please give 5-7 days notice prior to pick up and email us direct to with all information to confirm.

Delivery

Our Delivery service is a standard service only to your front door only or for items on a pallet or curb side delivery.  Please note this service does not include unpacking, furniture placement or rubbish removal.

For oversized, bulky, heavy or fragile items you may require a premium service with a special degree of handling and care for your piece. If you require a premium service please contact us via email and we can provide a quotation as this service is not automatically offered on our shipping calculator as displayed on our website.

-Split Delivery are classed as two or three  separate delivery fees and so on  if you have placed an order that includes a pre-order or back order and would prefer your in-stock pieces delivered first prior to your back order or pre-order pieces arriving the delivery company will charge you for each delivery fee the delivery fee will not be split or discounted in price as the delivery company’s quote and charge a minimum fee for each trip per up to 1 x Cubic M2.

If your delivery situation after dispatch requires re- delivery – re-direction or extra assistance addition costs will incur. The costs are the responsibility of the purchaser and will be payable to Yak and Yeti Trader prior.

If an item is oversized or heavy this will be detailed in the product description. Please allow a minimum of 4 working days for a shipping quotation to be sent out. Purchases made over the weekend or on a public holiday will be dispatched from the warehouse after 10-14 business days. Please note that orders being shipped to remote areas may injure additional postage costs.

If your order is damage or lost in transit from dispatch from our warehouse to the specified delivery destination you must contact the delivery, freight or courier company direct and follow the claims and complaint protocol direct with the delivery company this is not the responsibility of Yak and Yeti Trader to make any enquires on the clients behalf due to orders that are lost or damaged whilst in transport as this out of our control being a third party.

Please be advised it is the customers responsibility to pay for all delivery shipping /freight and removalist fees at all times.  If an order or piece requires return shipping or return delivery via we are not responsible for any delivery fees we supply goods only.

We have no direct affiliation or relation or ties with any third party delivery, shipping, freight or removalist service. We offer a complimentary delivery quote fee for guidance only it is up to the client if they wish to proceed with the quoted delivery fee if you choose to proceed with the delivery company they will then be in contact direct with you to organise further proceedings this is then a binding contract between the client and the delivery company direct. Yak and Yeti Trader do not have any binding contracts or agreements with a third party delivery service company that the client has agreed or selected to have their order delivered by.

You are not obligated to use the delivery service quoted fee we have offered as guidance only you can select and quote your own preferred delivery, freight, shipping, removalist or courier company.
